Rex Romain Hebert Sr., 69, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Richardson, Texas. He was born on November 8, 1955, in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Rex was a man of immense intelligence and curiosity, always eager to explore the worlds of music, art, and science. His passion for creativity and discovery shaped his life, whether through his love of painting or his deep appreciation for music. A natural problem-solver, he had an uncanny ability to fix anything that could be plugged in, making him the go-to person for family and friends whenever something needed repair. Rex Romain Hebert was a man of emotion. When he felt, it was with every ounce of his heart. His passions and proficiencies were many. Rex had synesthesia, and when he played his instruments and sang his songs, you could almost see the tune as he did; like paint on a canvas. His was a curious mind; a hungry mind. When Rex ran up to an obstacle and didn't know the solution, you could guarantee that he'd find it and learn something new every step of the way. He loved to teach those around him and share his ideas and knowledge. One of his greatest passions was the idea of free energy; the idea that we could free the world from fossil fuels and non renewable energies, providing free energy to all across the globe. He was renowned for his advances in this field. Rex was an artist in every sense of the word. From the canvas to the digital screen, he would create wonders. Rex was a man of curiosity, of wonder and of love, and he will be missed dearly.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Rex is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Hebert; his children, Jeremy Hebert, Rex Hebert Jr., Ralph Louviere, and Emily Evivie spouse Prince Evivie; and his grandchildren Leeann (pud), Sage (Sage e poo), Rex III (Trey bear), Hailee (Hailee bug), William (Willy will), and Nolan (Webble). He also leaves behind his sisters Christine Adroin and Betty Campbell, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and Romain Hebert; and his brother Don Hebert.
Rex's faith was an important part of his life as he worshiped in the Christian tradition. His legacy lives on through the knowledge he shared and the countless ways he enriched the lives of those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
