Justin Russell
Justin Scott Russell was born in Houston, Texas on September 19th, 1983. Sadly, Justin left this world on Thursday, December 30th surrounded by family at Baptist Stone Oak hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Justin was a fun, compassionate, intelligent, quick-witted individual who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Justin leaves behind his wife Jannelle Althea Russell and his five sons, Lion Scott Russell, Xander Speer Russell, Odin Sheamus Stone Russell, Thorin Storm Justinson Russell, and Orion Samuel Star Russell. Justin predeceased his father Arron Scott Russell and his stepmother Ellie Dana Rush Russell as well as his mother Jaqueline Celeste Blair Gadrow and stepfather Richard Allen Gadrow. He is also survived by his brothers Jonathan Arron Franklin Russell, Richard Brandon Gadrow, and Bryson Joseph Russell as well as his sister-in-law Jordan Ashley Brown and his nieces Aeris Lindsay Russell and Valkyrie Aeryn Russell. He is also survived by his grandparents, in-laws, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Justin will always be an amazing being of light and was loved by many. He was someone who looked at life differently. Anything is possible, he would have told the world had he had the chance. Nothing scared him and he always dreamt big. He taught compassion and would have given the shirt off his own back if someone needed it. He was goofy and fun. He was boisterous and dominated any room he walked in. He loved his children with all his heart. He loved playing D&D with them, participating in family movie nights, and he always gave the best bear hugs. His children recognized his greatness, "he was smart" and "he was beautiful" Odin told me. "Not only was he my father, but he was also my friend. No matter how mad he got at me, he always stayed happy," Xander said thoughtfully. "He was a great D&D player, a great dungeon master, and just a good person in general," said Lion who shares the same passion for D&D that his father did.

Please honor Justin's memory by contributing to his grove by visiting https://www.treesforachange.com/pages/justin-russell. Justin always loved nature and even refused to use straws at restaurants if it meant that it may protect a sea turtle or other wildlife. He would have loved to know that a grove was planted in his name, thank you.
