James "Jim" Marion Scott, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 19th, 2023.
Jim was a beloved husband, father, "Papa" to his grandchildren, as well as a friend to many. Jim was born April 28th, 1943 in Dallas, Texas. He was the eldest child of Reba and Loys Scott and grew up with his younger brother Bobby. Jim spent more than 25 years working in the commercial division of the FDIC.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sharon, brother, Bobby, daughters, Susan, Julie and Jennifer, son Robert, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Honoring Jim's wishes, there will not be a formal service. We will hold a private family celebration of life.
