Ray Tabor of San Antonio TX passed away in the late evening of Monday,
August 21, 2023. Ray lived in San Antonio with his wife Ann, daughter
Valerie and son-in-law Daniel. Ray will be laid to rest in the Elmwood
Cemetery, in Augusta, Kansas.
In past years Ray enjoyed spending time with his family and friends,
making the drive to their cabin with his wife for relaxing, and of course
building something. Before retirement Ray restored antique autos. He was
known as a craftsman and many of the autos took judges top awards at car
shows nation wide. Ray spent several years teaching his skills to others at
Lynn Benton Community College. Ray had a high skill in woodworking of all
kinds, making things for others and beautiful trimming in their home. In his late 80's Ray became quite the YouTube surfer!
Ray is survived by his wife Ann, daughters Dianne, Robbin, and Valerie;
grandchildren Elizabeth, Toby, Amanda, Krista, Michael, and Alex, and 10
great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sherri.
Ray will be deeply missed by all that had the opportunity to know him. Rest
in peace Ray!
