William Walker
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved William "Bill" Walker, Jr who left us peacefully on February 9, 2025 at the age of 84 years old. He was surrounded by family and loved ones at UTMB in Galveston, TX.

Born on September 16, 1940 in Bay City, TX. Bill was a cherished member of the Community Baptist Church in Danbury, TX where he was baptized in recent years. He was known for His generosity and sense of humor. Bill was always there for anyone in need. His generosity and sense of humor touched the lives of everyone he encountered.

Personal Life - Bill is survived by his wife Janette Smith, his son William Alvin Walker, III (Clayton), his daughter Karri Donoho (Chris), Son David Smith (Cheryl), Daughters Elizabeth Brooks (Jamie) and Kathryn Bang (Michael), his sister Shirley Cachia (Lawrence) along with many Grandkids and Great Grandkids and many dear friends who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his daughter Cynthia Hadley, his father William Walker, his mother Ruby Orr and his sister Robbie Roe and his great-granddaughter Raelyn Russell. In his lifetime, Bill was passionate about making sure everybody was okay, had a roof over their head and groceries in their pantries.

Celebration of Life - A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a date and time to be determined at the Danbury Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects. Bill leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew him. May Bill's soul rest in peace and to continue to guide our family along your path, in the name of your son Jesus.
